My wife met a guy at a realestate seminar. At one of their “hook up with other investors” sessions she met a guy who seemded credible. He is from Utah -Bob Noxon-case you can look him up- , we are in Wisconsin. He had a house he was going to buy and flip for huge profit but needed a cash partner. After getting a contract written (w/o a lawyer) where he put up some stock as collateral – she wired him the cash ($60,000). She was promised 1% per month simple interest and the money back regardless of what happened with the house deal by April 1st. A few weeks ago he said that the house deal did not close because the seller tried to raise the price so my wife told him to send the money back because the deal was then over. She reached him a couple more times since then to get him to send the money back and he said that he would – but no wire transfer yet. Since last Friday we have not been able to reach him – his v-mail is full and he does not answer page’s to his cell or his e-mail.

Also the personal advisors will look up the MLS for any property and will advise us of the fair market value of the property. Also that there are plenty of private investors who will lend atleast 80 % of the FMV of the property, not the purchasing price as banks and other lenders do. I wonder how much is true and how much is hype. Would like to hear from those who have tried his methods and signed up for his programme

I have a great interest in becoming a realestate investor but, I have little knowledge about how the business really work. My interest is buying duplex, single family homes, condo’s and apartments and rentingthem out to low income familes, which I think would be a good idea to create cashflow. I would like to start out with section 8 and HUD because I have little funds on hand to began with. I visited a seminar and ended up buying the tools to began but later found out that it will be a big hassle for me getting government grants and loans due to my credit problem. I do understand that nothing comes easy when trying to become an investor. But do anyone have any idea on how I should go by getting the grants to make my first investment. I know that the govenment will help better if it’s a project that’s beneficial to the economy so, I think I have the right ideal but still confused on where to began. well i believe it’s a reasonable amount to start making efficient and productive use of that amount at this point of time.

I’ve been to many ‘money-making’ or financial seminars lately. the successful investors usually advice me not to keep money on the bank stagnent but instead use it for investment and etc.

right now i dont know how to make extra money out of that savings besides the annual bank interest.

Can someone please provide me with tips on using that bulk amount to make more money??

Ok. So my wife and I were watchin tv and saw a show about John Becks “foolproof real estate system”. We were thinkin about buyin his product, after all, that did look like a lot of info on how to get started for only 40 bucks.

A friend of ours said they bought this product, and “didn’t work”. When we asked why, she couldn’t give a straight answer. So that leads me to believe they didn’t try, or didn’t put any effort into it.

Has anybody ever tried John Beck’s product? If you did, what do u think? Has anybody ever tried any products like this from real estate investors that say they can teach you how? Like Robert Kiyosaki, Russ Whitney, John Beck, ect.?

I know there’s people out there who have been to real estate seminars and done the classes and bought the products they offer. If you did, were u succesful? I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU, especially if you’ve had success from buying these classes and buyin products. Tell me who and what worked (or DIDN’T work) for you!
